What Happens In the Planning Room

When the students are with me they write a plan for their actions, and think about what they did and try to figure out ways to have a better attitude, ways to get their homework done, ways to improve their behavior. They stay 15 minutes, maybe a little longer if needed and then return to class. I mail home the plan the student writes and the planning room slip the teacher writes for the reason they were sent out of class. Sometimes this doesn't go out until the next day, depending on the time of day the student is with me.
