The 2025 spring sports season officially began on Monday, March 17, as all junior varsity and varsity athletes across New York State could start holding practices. At Newark Valley, Cardinal athletes will be competing in baseball, softball, boys' and girls' outdoor track, boys' tennis, and boys' golf. Good luck to all our athletes this 2025 spring season!

The first competitions for each sport are as follows:

Baseball: Monday, March 31 vs. Whitney Point (4:30pm)

Softball: Monday, March 31 @ Dryden (4:30pm)

Boys' Tennis: Monday, March 31 @ Southern Cayuga (4:30pm)

Boys' and Girls' Outdoor Track: Wednesday, April 2 vs. Lansing, Thomas A. Edison, Dryden @ Dryden HS (4:30pm)

Boys' Golf: Tuesday, March 8 vs. Whitney Point @ Grandview Farms Golf Course (3:30pm)

Modified athletes will have to wait a bit longer for their season to begin, as their practices start on Monday, March 31.
