A Welcome Message from the NTH Principal

As summer draws to an end and the calendar turns another page, we who work with children get more and more excited about the start of another school year. September is a wonderful time for children as well as the adults who chose the rewarding job of shaping the future by becoming educators.

I am very fortunate to work with such dedicated and caring individuals. We are excited for the children to come back to school and see how many of them read enough so that they can have “Pizza with the Principal!”

Over 120 children attended our “Summer Fun and Learn” and it was great to see the kids. The teachers planned exciting and creative lessons and the children had a ball!

Our custodial staff has done their usual outstanding job making our school shine, working through a ton of construction, including getting a new roof on the entire building.

Please spend these last days of summer playing outside and reading some good books but also begin preparing for the upcoming school year. It is also a good idea to get back into the routine of the school schedule and having your children get to bed earlier. Before we know it, that big yellow school bus will be coming to pick up the wonderful children that make our school the great place that it is.
