Boys varsity bowling teams claims championship
Congratulations to the boys varsity bowling team. They recently claimed the IAC Large School Division Championship. This is the first time that the bowling team has won the IAC Championship in school history. This will allow the team to have an automatic bid into the state bowling qualifiers. Leading the team was Alex Umiker, Kyle Pratt, Sam Umiker, Jason Brown, Lucas Frank and Johnny Fiacco. During the championship Alex bowled a 673 series to beat out 119 bowlers from 12 schools to take 1st place as an individual. Alex also had the highest game of 290 for the season and was named to the all-star team. Also congratulations to Rosie Hines for placing 3rd at the Girls IAC Bowling Championship. Rosie had a season high series of 546.
