NV Girls Track Dominates Pentathlon
Congratulations to Newark Valley junior Kayla Malarkey who won the IAC Girls Pentathlon championship. Kayla totaled 1,864 points in the 100 meter hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put and 800 run. Congratulations to Leah Williams who placed third in the Girls IAC Pentathlon Championship. The girls competed against area districts, including Watkins Glen, Newfield, Union Springs, Elmira, Notre Dame and Trumansburg.
