Mike Wandell Named ESPN Athlete of the Week
NV baseball player Mike Wandell was named the ESPN Athlete
of the Week. Wandell, a freshman, pitches for the team and recently had a great
game against Notre Dame. He also plays short-stop and third base. Wandell said
he looks to some of the older players on the team to help mentor him. ‘I just try to go with the flow,” he said. “The people around you make it easier for you.” Wandell said one of his goals this season is to start in a sectional game. Listen to his interview on ESPN.
