Welcome Back from Superintendent
Welcome back for the 2021-2022 school year! We are so excited to welcome our students back for the upcoming school year and especially happy that we will all be returning together on September 9. Obviously, last year was an extraordinary challenge for everyone. Split schedules, virtual instruction, suspension or modification of multiple activities, and a truncated sports schedule were just some of the strains our students had to contend with. While there will certainly continue to be some challenges, adjustments, and COVID mitigation protocols related to the ongoing pandemic, we are focused on returning to as normal a school experience as we can - and doing everything we can to safely keep our kids in school. Please note that we are still in a period of time when things can change rapidly. However, we’ve learned a great deal over the past 18 months and will do everything possible to minimize disruption to our students. In closing, I would like to reiterate my sincere gratitude to our community for your cooperation and strength over the past year and a half. This is a very frustrating time for all of us, especially those of us with school-aged children. Your support is critical, and we could not fulfill our mission without it. I look forward with great anticipation to the return of our kids, and I wish you all the very best as we return.
Respectfully,

Ryan Dougherty
