Welcome Back to School

It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome our students to the 2019-2020 school year!  After a long winter and an extraordinarily wet spring, it has been a comfort to know that our kids and their families have been able to enjoy such beautiful summer weather.

Business has been brisk here on campus this summer.  We are wrapping up the final phase of our capital project, the largest portion of which is our new transportation facility.  We hope to be fully moved in by September 1, and the new building should serve our district well for decades to come.  Additionally, we have installed a new security camera system at the high school, as well as a new phone system, and we have expanded our broadband capacity by a factor of 10 to better serve our students and their evolving technology needs.

Teachers have been very active across all grades and subjects this summer as well.  We continue to work hard on improving our curriculum and instruction to keep pace with our student needs.  Work has centered largely on math, ELA and history this summer, as we continue to refine our content for maximum student growth.

Finally, I would like to recognize the outstanding work our buildings and grounds staff have done this summer.  Our campus looks fantastic inside and out.  They constantly work to ensure that our kids have a top-notch learning environment, and that we are presenting ourselves in a way that our community can be proud of.

As always, I would like to thank you, the community, for all that you do to support our mission.  It remains an honor, and a privilege, to be able to serve this outstanding school district.

Best Regards-

Ryan Dougherty
