Pick up and Drop off for items
The Newark Valley Middle School and High School have set up dates and times for you to retrieve items from lockers, as well as to drop off school-owned items that are no longer needed at this time. Pick up and drop off times, dates, and procedures are as follows, according to each building:
Pick up in the Middle School will be from 9 to 11a.m. on the following days, according to grade level: 7th grade on Tuesday, May 26, 5th and 6th grade on Wednesday, May 27, and 4th grade on Thursday, May 28.
When you arrive there will be staff at the Main Entrance of the Large Gym who will retrieve your bag of belongings. There will also be tables set up for items you are returning, such as library books, recorders, and textbooks.
If you have students in multiple grades you can pick everything up at the same time. If you need another date or time, please contact the Middle School main office and we will assist you the best we can.
Pick up in the High School will be from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the following days, according to grade level: 8th and 9th grade on Tuesday, May 26, 10th and 11th grade on Wednesday, May 27, and 12th grade on Thursday, May 28.
Staff will be in the bus loop, and they will retrieve your bag of belongings once you arrive. Everything is color coded by grade level and labeled with locker numbers and student names.
Teachers will post anything that can be returned at this time in their Schoology class, and there will be another time to drop off materials once our classes have ended for the year. Any other items that are no longer needed at this time can be returned to tables that will be set up on the sidewalk and labeled by grade level and subject area.
If you have students in multiple grades you can pick everything up at the same time. Please reach out to the high school main office if you need anything.
