Save Queen of Sheba
By: Louise Moeri

This book, Save Queen of Sheba, is about a boy and his little sister who are the only ones who survive after a terrible massacre. It leaves animals, husbands, mothers and children dead in a dry, dry land. The boy and his little sister are left alive on the dry, dry land. They travel miles and miles to find their parents after all this happened. The only problem is Queen of Sheba, the boy’s little sister, is being very selfish while the boy is half-dead in this dry, dry valley. Do you think they will ever find their parents? You should read and find out.
I recommend this book for people who like adventure because this book is adventurous and if you like exciting stories, it is also very exciting.

We Goddesses
By: Doris Orgel

Three stories about Athena, Aphrodite, and Hera. Three of the major goddesses. War stories, love stories, stories about betrayal, competition and myths. Athena tells stories about heroes and slayings. Aphrodite tells stories about the many loves she’s had and the time she, Athena, and Hera competed for the Golden Apple. Hera tells of all the times she and Zeus betrayed each other.
I loved it mostly because I’m Greek and I love to learn about my history and the myths surrounding it. If you love girl power stories-then you will love this book! Sorry guys, even though there are war stories you might want to skip this one.
