January Regents week is quickly approaching. All exams are scheduled the week of January
22nd through January 25th. Morning exams begin promptly at 8 a.m. and
afternoon exams begin promptly at noon.
There will be no
school in session for 8th – 12th grades on Monday,
January 22nd. All of our Juniors as well as any students retaking the exam will sit for the ELA Regents in the morning. A large amount of our student body will also be sitting for the Living Environment Regents in the afternoon. Only students who are testing that day should be in school. Busses will run on normal schedule in the
morning and afternoon. In addition, we
will run a separate bus run mid-day to north, south, east, west locations. That bus will leave the high school at 11:15.
There will be additional Regents exams administered Tuesday through Thursday with a small amount of students testing or re-taking an exam. Therefore, school will be in regular session the rest of the week. Your son/daughter will receive a slip from the guidance
office the week before exams indicating where they need to report for
testing. If your student is taking a morning exam they
will attend their afternoon classes and if they are scheduled for an afternoon
exam, they will attend their morning classes.
